Detailed Description
Dragon Media Backend provides an audio playback engine with gapless playback, FFT visualization data, radio stream support with ICY metadata, and multi-backend audio output (PipeWire, PulseAudio, and SDL3). It is built with FFmpeg, kissfft, and C++23.
The public API centers on DragonPlayer, the playback controller, together with DragonAudioOutput for output controls, DragonSpectrumAnalyzer for FFT outputs for visualization. Supporting value classes include DragonFftFrame and DragonIcyMetadata.
The DragonCdTocReader class provides the entry point to playing audio CDs. Use it to obtain the DragonCdToc of a disc, which has a list of DragonCdTrack. It has a url property you can use to play a track using DragonPlayer.
